I gotta say, Servin's Tree Care has got to be the best bang for my buck. If Best customer service was a company, it's Servin's Tree Care. He was highly communicative, friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I booked him during the so called Freeze of January 2026, and he called and said even though he was booked, he would squeeze me into his busy Thursday schedule and made sure my trees were taken care of beforehand. Mind you my appointment wasn't until the next day Friday afternoon. When they arrived, you could tell they are professionals because Jose and his crew got off the truck and went to work immediately! They run a well established operation. Had proof of insurance as requested with the quote, showed up properly geared with safety, did not make a lot of unnecessary yelling and noise. Worked the entire time besides a lunch break (could hear the saws). Jose and his crew were true professionals. Communication and coordination given the weather and my specific requests were top notch and pleasantly so. Sales/bid visit was best in class among other providers with over 100 reviews in 5-star category, he won't just tell you what he will do, he will point out exact branches and areas he will clear out in a way you cannot possibly misunderstand. They cared for my property and respected me and the property, as well as my neighbors' properties. They went out and put a tarp in the neighbor's property to prevent leaves and debris from making a mess by the pool and in the pool. We had the honor of meeting Jose before Hurricane Beryl that hit Houston on July 7th 2024, we had originally called him to trim our 200 yo Red Oak, he was in awe with the beauty of the tree, immediately noticed we had a momma woodpecker living up high in the tree which he said he would need to save/relocate before starting the trimming process. We immediately knew we found the right guy for the job!! Fast forward, the tree succumbed to the high winds that came through Sugarland. The tree was uprooted and now in tree heaven. Jose and team did a great job. We put the job out to bid and he was the only vendor to make suggestions to keep the trees shape while the others wanted to hack at them to trim. The finished job looked amazing and we were very happy with the service, communication, price and cleanliness of the work. Also to add, my neighbor wanted her trees done and they were able to do them, same day, and within the window they projected. Matter of fact they were done sooner than planned. I had a tree that was hit by lightening months ago. A family member assured me that I had plenty of time to get it cut down. Turns out the tree died FAST!! On Thursday, October 28, 2021, Houston had super high winds that took down a lot of trees and knocked out power. I promised myself then and there that I would move forward with getting estimates to have the tree removed. Servin's Tree Care was recommended to me by a colleague. They provided the fastest and most-economical estimate for the tree removal and stump grinding. They scheduled our tree removal for the following Monday, November 1st. They had a crew of three and artfully removed the tree without incident within four hours. A neighbor of mine had a tree in very close proximity removed (the stump remains) and it took that company two full days to remove and they dropped all kind of debris onto my roof and carport. Mr. Servin runs an excellent tree care business and I intend to use him for all my tree needs in the future and have already started recommending him to family and friends. This company really know how to trim a tree to improve its beauty while knowing what it takes to keep a tree healthy. We love our shade trees and he understood the value of our trees. Professional and kind, honest about what should and should get removed or preserved, courteous about our pups, neighbors and home and even did a few extra things to please. 10/10 would recommend! We had another bid that was double and they told us to remove so many trees and José stated he thought they could be preserved — he looked out for our best interest instead of just trying to be more profitable. Servins provided excellent and efficient work with clear communication. They left my sidewalks and driveway cleaner than they found it! Trees had extensive low hanging limbs and dead branches, Servins cleaned them up excellently and even cleared branches from the backyard that fell from tree trimming. Highly recommend! Jose and his crew did a really great job in just a couple of hours! Our big tree in the backyard needed a trim and it looks so refreshed now. The guys also made sure to not disturb a bird's nest on one of the branches. There is a ton of light and space with the other tree bushes removed too. We are very happy with how everything turned out. We plan on requesting their services again for our front yard later. Definitely recommend them! See more See less
